KWOK ONE: A RISING STAR IN MARTIAL ARTS, DANCE, AND ACTING
Kwok’s martial arts journey began with Chinese Southern Style Kung Fu, where he developed a solid foundation in physical discipline and philosophy. His dedication to martial arts led him to Nunchaku Do, where he became a three-time champion in the Kumite Division. These victories were broadcast on Eurosport, solidifying his reputation as a skilled martial artist. Kwok’s martial arts career didn’t end there; he further trained in Ving Tsun Kung Fu under renowned Grandmaster Wong Shun Leung. As a disciple and personal translator for Wong, Kwok gained invaluable insights into martial arts philosophy and practice. After Wong’s passing, Kwok continued his training with Barry Lee, reinforcing his expertise and respect for the art form.
In addition to martial arts, Kwok has always had a deep passion for dance. He studied theatre dance at the Amsterdam University of the Arts, where his skills flourished. His versatility in both martial arts and dance provided him with a unique advantage, blending movement, grace, and emotion.
In 2020, amid the COVID-19 pandemic, Kwok transitioned to acting, enrolling in acting classes and later attending the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art (RADA) in London. This pivot allowed Kwok to combine his martial arts, dance, and acting skills, bringing a dynamic and authentic presence to both the stage and screen.
