Biography of Kwok One

Kwok One has over 2 decades of experience in theatre both as a dancer and actor in leading roles across film, TV and theater productions worldwide.

He is a versatile actor with a wide range playing comedy all the way up to Shakespeare classic roles.

Kwok One is a 3 times champion in Nunchaku Do, and has 14 years intensive professional training in Ving Tsun Kung Fu.

As a contemporary theatre dancer he is classically trained with a musical theatre singing and dancing background.

He stars in the Dutch blockbuster action-comedy franchise Bon Bini part 4 Bangkok Nights as the antagonist.

Kwok One speaks fluent English, Chinese, Dutch and German. He is proficient in both Spanish and Portuguese.

His parents are from China, so his mother tongue is Chinese. Because Kwok One was born and raised in the Netherlands he also speaks Dutch, English and German fluently. Besides this he speaks Spanish and Portuguese although not fluent.

Besides acting and martial arts he practices modern theatre dance on a professional level.
He was a dance teacher for many years besides having a dance studio he also toured around the world with his own dance concept OneZensation. From New York to Los Angeles, from Amsterdam to Tokyo and everything in between, but now Kwok has left everything behind in order to be able to focus on a career completely dedicated to acting.

He has been acting for over 12 years man now. At first some small roles in advertising and television. But ten years ago there was a documentary made about his life and since then he really got a taste for acting on a higher level.

Nowadays he takes on almost any role because he is determined to improve his skills. Although he’s currently very active in both training and working. Kwok is always looking for better coaches to take his acting skills to the next level.

He’s extremely talented speaking before large crowds, besides being charismatic he has the ability to move and feel the crowd, story telling together with comedy is his main thing, live television, improve theatre, sketches, stand-up comedy is something that can light his fire.

With his warm and pleasant baritone voice does great work with voice-overs.
Despite his small stature he’s never shy or nervous and always convinced he can handle any role. So whenever a short Asian actor is required he is your guy!
